It's easy! Just slip SeatSpin's opening over any car seat with a headrest. It's made of soft, sueded microfiber that's super comfortable. Tuck in at the base of the back and on the side, making sure not to cover your seat belt latch. The tucking and special gripping dots hold your SeatSpin in place. When you're not using your cover, spin it to the back of the seat. Fold under and snap to keep it off of the floor. It will dry if it is wet. When you need it again, unsnap and spin to the front of the seat. Wash as often as you like with your other laundry. We offer bench seat covers for back seats with headrests. Our bench seat covers require headrests to keep them in place. Remember, SeatSpin is for those who don't mind a bit of movement in exchange for not having to deal with belts, loops and buckles.
Glad you asked! SeatSpin was created out of frustration with fitted car seat covers:
- The cumbersome and difficult process of installing and removing from the seat.
- The uncomfortable rubber or foam material.
- The special washing required.
Universal or non-fitted car seat covers like SeatSpin offer the convenience of quick on/off with no installation required.
SeatSpin's American designers improved on existing universal car seat covers in these ways:
- Use soft, sueded, quick-dry, anti-odor material that allows SeatSpin to stay on the seat right where it's needed. No need to take off the seat and stow away. SeatSpin spins from the front to the back of the seat on the headrest. Snaps up when spun to the back to keep off the floor. Spin back to the front when you need it again.
- Expanded size for superior coverage behind knees and calves.
- Offer beautiful designs by American artists you'll be proud to have in your car. Join our mailing list to be the first to hear about our limited edition seasonal and holiday designs.
Even before COVID, car experts recommended car seat covers to preserve leather or upholstery, and to prevent odor build-up. Now, more than ever, it's important to keep all surfaces of your car interior as clean as possible. You may want to have a few SeatSpins on hand so that you always have a clean one ready to go while the others are in the laundry. Don't transfer germs to your clothes and your home after you've been out in public when it's so easy to protect yourself. And in the summer or in hot climates, you'll never had to worry about burning your skin on scorching seats or stick to them. They'll always be clean, dry and comfortable.
This depends on your intended usage and preferences. Do you want something that is quick and easy to use and that can be washed often along with the rest of your laundry? Then choose SeatSpin! If you sweat alot or get into the car soaking wet, you'll want to buy one of our waterproof covers. Do you mind if the cover moves a little on the seat or do you want it to stay securely in place with loops and buckles and belts? SeatSpin is for those who don't mind some movement if it means they don't have to worry about complicated or time-wasting installation and removal. For most customers though, SeatSpin remains securely on the seat because of its special gripping dots and the tucking in the back and sides.
Yes - as long as they don't prevent airbags from deploying and don't transfer materials or color onto your car seat. If you have seat- mounted side airbags please check to be sure that SeatSpin does not cover the airbag and will not slow airbag deployment. SeatSpin has been tested to ensure no material or color transfer will occur.
This is a question many people ask. Each material has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, leather has a premium look and feel but may get hot in summer or warmer climates. It also tends to be the most expensive material and requires special cleaning. Neoprene is durable and generally waterproof because it is made from synthetic rubber. It often requires special washing. SeatSpin is made of thick, soft performance microfiber cloth that can be washed and dried with the rest of your laundry. Choose our Quick Dry or Waterproof covers in a variety of solids and prints. Both are odor resistant and anti-microbial. For everyday convenience, SeatSpin is perfect.
SeatSpin has been tested extensively to ensure that there will be no transfer of any kind from the cloth to your leather seat. Your leather seats will be protected from the sweat, sun, and dirt that can cause cracking, fading and staining. Be careful to read reviews and choose seat covers that do not rub off color or materials.
Some car seat covers are but not all. This varies depending on the material they're made from. SeatSpin can be machine washed and dryed with the rest of your laundry. No special care required. This makes SeatSpin covers the ultimate in convenience for those who like to keep their cars clean and smelling fresh.

Golf cart seats are typically made of vinyl which can be uncomfortable to sit on when it's hot - especially when you're wearing shorts or a skort. Covering your seats with cloth or fabric keeps them cool, dry and comfy. You'll find covers made of terry cloth, cotton and polyester that slip onto the seat. SeatSpin golf cart seat covers are made of the same performance microfiber as our car seat covers. We believe it is the best material because its thick, soft-suede feels provides the ultimate in comfort while being quick-dry, waterproof and anti-odor.
Slip-on golf car seat covers like SeatSpin's have openings for the armrests or slip directly onto the seat for quick-on, quick off. Other golf cart seat covers require some installation. Custom covers are typically installed at a dealership or golf shop. Others are meant for DIY installations that may or may not involve tools. Before you buy a cover, be sure that you understand how it goes on and comes off.
Consider the questions on this checklist before shopping for golf cart seat covers:
- Do I need front and back seat covers?
- Are the armrests or hip restraints integrated into the golf cart seat or is there a gap between them?
- Do I want seat bottom and seat back covers?
- What is the length and width of the seat bottom (and back if applicable)?
- What is the length of the two armrests or hip restraints? They may be different.
- What fabric(s) do I prefer? Microfiber, cotton, quilt (cotton/poly blend) terry cloth, polyester etc.
- Am I willing to consider covers that require Installation or only those that slip on and off?
- Am I willing to consider covers that require special care or only those that are machine washable?
- Looking for solid colors or prints?
- Do I need or want a custom golf cart seat covers?
